View Full Version : audio decompressor could not be found in virtualdubmod

I have a dvd file i want to save as avi in virtualdubmod, i saved the file last night but deleted it by accident, now when i try to convert it again i get the error no decompressor could be found to decompress audio format.I think i must be doing something differently this morning so could anybody help.

Thanks pookie, i have already downloaded the ac3-filter and everything is running smoothly but thanks again, it's good to know there are people willing to help. I still don't know how ac3 just vanished from my system, strange things have been happening since i downloaded spyware from somewhere or other.

There's this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=94765) that also says the installed codecs/software can be corrupted suddenly. It happens, most of the time giving no clue as to why.
