Have you tried other encoder?

Fishman0919
11th May 2005, 14:46
Yep, I just try two movies with Procoder 1.5 (Family Guy S2 D3 and DareDevil 1.5) and got the same thing... did the same 2 movies with CCE Basic 2.70.01.04 with no problems.

L3on

To be Honest I haven't , But I dont Like the Quality of CCE SP , For me Procoder much better IMHO .!

So what you suggesting ?? to try CCE BASIC or there is Solution...??

HC Encoder is real good, IMO as Good as Procoder and about the same speed for me.

I have found on some disc... procoder and dvd-rb just don't work

You'll have to ask Robot1... DVD-RB only works with Procoder through Robot1's EclPRO.

The problems you are submiting may have something to do with EclPRO not DVD-RB, I'm not sure though... maybe Robot1 can answer that.

Tonight I'll Try CCE Basic...I'm not sure if i'll have same problem ...and tomorrow I'll Try to change EclPro and reEncode again maybe you right , Coz I Experienced this problem from 0.80 version.

Does Any1 know where to find Differend make ElcPRO ??? Coz Main is from DVD-RB Site...!!

Hi Every1 Again , I tested 2 Different Encoders..!!

1. Seems like This Problem comes with Canopus PROcoder 2.0 + DVD-RB , And Maybe There is something to do with Eclpro

2.I've Tried CCE/Basic 2.69 + DVD-RB 0.89 There wasn't any Problem , BUT I had DVD5 at the end SIZE 2.8 GB What's wrong i did ???

Can any1 Help me out..???Plz And Maybe Some1 can Solve This problem with canopus Procoder or EclPro or DVD-RB ,

I have the same error as well, this is with Superman the Movie Extended version.
I tested it with a retail version of CCE 2.67 and a demo version of 2.5 using ECLCCE, both the same errors pops up during the rebuild process, here is the logs

[11:25:49] Phase II ENCODING completed in 511 minutes.
[11:25:50] Phase III, REBUILD started.
- Copying IFO, BUP, and unaltered files...
- Processing VTS_01
- Rebuilding segment 0 VOBID: 1 CELLID: 1
- Updating NAVPACKS for VOBID_01
- Rebuilding segment 1 VOBID: 2 CELLID: 1
- Updating NAVPACKS for VOBID_02
- Rebuilding segment 2 VOBID: 3 CELLID: 1

After that, i got the ERROR 0006: DVD-RB has found an inconsistency in source data between PREPARE and REBUILD phases.
Right after it seemed to be done rebuilding the segment of V01000200003001.m2v
I did some checking on the DV2AVS folder, imo something isn't right with the whole cells being seperated, whcih is what i believe that could caused this error, I'm probably mistaken on this, but its just look so irregular when doing plenty of movies that didn't have this thing, which is probably what i think caused this error.
After the above encoded file i mention earlier, there's the V01000300000000.M2V file after it, its very small approx 45kb, it only contains like 1/3 of a second of footage from the movie (intro scene to be exact for superman the moviem the beginning black and white opening credits), my guess is that when dynamically selecting frames, it selects that small part of a segmant, from what the avs script and compare to the vidoe encoded looked like, there was some artifacts found on both, i checked my dvd source to see if it has this problem and its all clean, this is probably not the reason why it causes the crash, but it just looks very unusual compare to many encodes done before.

Thats about all i can explain on the crash thing... not even sure what to look or meaning of the inconsistency errors found..
Also I forgot to mention, that this DVD has some sort of a "DUMMY" Audio track, i done 4 encodes using CCE with and without this dummy track and still got the errors, reason why i say dummy is because using with DVDSHRINK to detect the size, it was all 0mb plus cannot seem to select the track on the dvd player when playing the original movie format
Superman the Movie Extended has 4 tracks, 1 being the main 5.1 of course, 2 the Director Commentary and 3 Music only track, while 4 , listed with the VTS, contains nothing at all.

Just updated, i done the encode with procoder 2.0, still the same results... perhaps if i can grab the older version of REbuilder it could work, maybe if i disable dynamic cells option, i'll try it asap
:scared:

I've encountered the same problem. After numerous successful encodes with various versions of Rebuilder this is the first problem I've come across.

The problem dvd: Fellini's 'Juliet of the Spirits.' (PAL, interlaced, no processing.)

Used DVDRebuilder 0.92 pro. Default settings. Problem occurred with both HC ('best' setting) and CCE 2.70.02.00.

Just an update, even using CCE 2.50 , which said to have less inconsistency errors than 2.67, failed..
I then downloaded an older version of rebuilder (0.59 beta to be exact) and i started work on Superman Extended edition and it worked fine, playback was fine and everything is good. Do not know what this means though, if the newer versions has error checkup or something that would mean my source was bad, but it looks all good to me...
