I'm using DVD-RB v.91, CCE 2.70.2.0. and have installed the Rocka's installer.

A friend bought the MGM R1 release of Crossplot. I wanted to make myself a copy, but the original is only 4:3 widescreen. I wanted to make my copy anamorphic, so I set everything as it should be. The thing is that the original DVD is only 3.76 GB, so I get the message from DVD-RB that it dont need to be comressed. I select continue an DVD-RB is doing it's job.

The end result is excellent, but the size of the movie is now 4.27 GB.
The question here is: Is this good or is this bad?

I did the prosess twice with the same result. On the first try I used my own targetsize witch is 2250000, and on the second run I used DVD-RB's default setting, and on both I used the One Pass VBR (w/analyse) to save time.

I haven't had time to watch trough the whole movie yet, but skipping trough it I could not see anything wrong with it.

resizing does reencode, so you can make it any size you want.

it wont improve it, but i doubt it made it any worse
