Hi guys, I've a little problem of bitrate I don't know where it comes from if you could help me :

I'm trying to back up Star wars episode 1 PAL zone 2, i've reduced the menus to 50% to keep more place for the video because I want to keep everything. I start dvd-rb I dealt succesfully with the "prepare" phase but it says me an overall bitrate of 2380kbps ? If I load the dvd in dvdshrink it says me the ratio is 58% so with 58% I can't get such a bad bitrate.
I don't understand because I've already sucessfully backed up star wars episode 4 (with dvd-rb) which is only 10mins less than episode 1 and I got a final bitrate between 3200-3300 I don't remember exactly.

episode 1 has angles that arent reencoded at the moment

strip the angles first and the bitrate will go up.

yes but episode4 had angles too, moreover angles are only one video segment which is different according to the langage so it's a little video am I wrong ?

right but angles are copied raw so they take up lots of space.

ok thank you but the only thing I don't really understand is that star wars episode 4 has the same structure with angles, menus etc... and approximately the same running time and it worked perfectly with a bitrate at 3300kbps.
Could the problem come from a new version of dvd-rb? I've installed a new version few days ago
