Per this update there is no "Good" setting in the HC encoder, batch or GUI version. There is only fast-normal-best. I noticed when encoding a
short test clip with the HC encoder "Not" minimized that when I ticked "fast" it showed on the profile as "fast", ticked "normal" showed "normal", ticked "good" showed "Normal", ticked "best" showed "best".

HC and HCbatch beta 0.13 - release date 17-04-2005
- faster encoding
- bitrate control updated
- encoding profiles updated: FAST - NORMAL - BEST
- QLB matrix updated
- added *NOSEQ_ENDCODE command to suppress output of the sequence endcode
- some other minor bugs fixed

So, why is there still an HC option for the Good quality profile in
DVD-RB?

I just received my Pro v.0.90 of DVD-RB friday, May 6. So, if I
missed something about this item don't flame me:)

P.S. I get very good results with HC. Also, I think CCE should start looking over their shoulders because HC & QuEnc are gaining Fast!
And "Of Course" Cheers to the All powerful Wizard of Oz ...er....Wizard of Jdobbs! for DVD-RB :D time for bed

That was added when there was a "good" option in HC. It's just left there for consistency. I suppose I will eventually remove it.

@ jdobbs No problem,
I thought I had done something wrong during the "Pro" install over the "Free" version and was going nuts trying to figure it out because I couldn't get the "Good" setting in HC to work. Just a heads up for others, pulling their hair out, trying to find the "Good" setting.:D

I really like the "Extra Features" in the Pro version BTW, over the Free version and would recomend that those using the Free version would
find the Pro's all in one features a lot easier and faster to use as opposed to using 3 other apps. to do the same thing. Just make a donation and you will save yourselfs some time and get Great results. Just another converts opinion.
Regards:)
