is decrypter intelligent enough to know if a DVD has structure protection? it seems that any dvd I ripped with "check structure protection" enable, it always insert dummy sectors? and even if the DVDs are quite old already (2 years old)

I though structure protection is only present for recently released DVDs. right?

thanks for the reply.

Lots of dvds have unreferenced files on them - normally the VIDEO_TS.VOB file.

This just triggers one of the many checks for structure protection.

No big deal, if you leave the program on 'Normal' for the structure protection removal stuff (NOT aggressive), no dummy sectors will be inserted needlessly.
