Since a while ago i have some weird things going on with doitfast4u

After it used dvd decrypter to rip the video / audio files etc my mounted image is crashed so it cant read it nomore in doitfast4u ...

I'm using daemon tools to mount the image and the problem isnt there i've tryed different versions from daemon tools, doitfast4u, dvd decrypter, avisynt ... just everything. I even tryed a reinstall of windows wich didnt help :(

I tryed older versions from every app i've been using.

Does someone ever had this or has a solution for this?

Every time dvd decrypter is done i have to remount it quickly before it starts ripping the subs and most of the time i'm too late.

Thanks in advance

that sounds more like a problem w/ DVD Decrypter... and if so I'll move this thread over there so LightUK will see it faster..

you sure the drive isn't readable anymore and that it's not doitfast4u crashing for another reason?

can you read the drive from explorer?

No, its the moment after dvd decrypter is done and dvd decrypter isnt the problem i tryed different versions and a friend of me had the same problem

so its not dvd decrypter, i think its something with doitfast4u

ah yes..... i believe your running into a bug that occationally comes up..

DVD Decrypter changes it's naming scheme a few releases back which seems to cause doitfast4u to have issues (although I thought it only occured w/ VOBID demuxes)

problem actually hits when doitfast4u tries to rename/parse the file names for audio...

umm ... just a thought ...
in your dvd decrypter settings (settings > device > options), you dont have "eject tray after .... read" selected do you?
only this will 'unmount' the image after dvd decrypter is run. which sounds like what is happening.

omg thats it :D

i never thought about that

ofcourse if you eject a mounted image it would be 'unmounted'

thnx man ;)

I've had enough with ppl having issues with this... I'm disabling that setting in DVDDec automatically in my next beta. Stupid setting!

Maybe I could add a /NOEJECT switch for you eyes.

If people have gone to the trouble of manually setting it to eject the disc after a read, I would assume that's what they want to happen.

It would be mean for you to reset that - unless you put the setting back once they close your program.

Thanks, Light.

I thought of that a bit after I posted, as a second resort. That would be a lot more helpful to everyone. I was planning on storing the previous value of the eject setting, but then if my program crashed or the process was killed, they'd probably lose their setting.
