DVD decrypter and emulated drives

Is it possible to get DVD decrypter to see an emulated drive and not just one dvd-rw drive? I'm using windowsXP 64bit right now for some test and would like to encode the same thing using autoGK to record the files. however there is no aspi layer for smart ripper to work and I'm having troubles with my optical drives atm so i used XP 32bit to put 3 .iso files on my storage HD then installed XP64bit. Now I'm in 64bit (which feels sooooooooo much better on these opterons for those out there wondering.) and I have an emulated drive. However DVD decrypter just see's my one dvd-rw and I don't know how to select the emulated drive. Any help?

If your drive is actually working properly (and registered within the OS in the same way), SPTI should pick it up just fine.

What one are you using, the Elby one? (I don't know of any others that work under XP 64bit).

my drive isn't functioning properly that's the thing. Here is the program i was using. Filedisk (http://www.planetamd64.com/index.php?showtopic=4660&hl=virtual)

No, I actually meant the emulated drive. If it doesn't work / install itself like a real cd/dvdrom drive using the appropriate classes, SPTI wont pick it up.

You could try using the Elby CloneDrive thingy. It was recently updated (I believe) to support 64bit OS's.

thanks for the response I'll give it a try tonight. However the emulator does work just fine except it only says CD not DVD so i was thinking since it sin't labled DVD the dvddecryptor wouldn't want to notice it. When ti automatically looks for a drive it just finds my one DVD. Drop down menu won't let me select another.:stupid:

What does it say in the log?

Just 1 drive found or 1 dvd drive + a cdrom?
