I currently have a problem whereby if I fast-forward or rewind ANY video file (xvid, wmv, mpg) it often results in my computer completely freezing up and forcing me to reset. It also seems to happen with constant pausing/unpausing. The same problem occurs in many media players - i've tried BSPlayer, VLC, WMP, Zoom.
My graphics card is a Radeon 9200SE with the latest drivers, and i have scanned for spyware and viruses and found nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated because I'm at my wits end with this!
