xvid to dvd lost last minute of movie

I converted an xvid avi movie to dvd with tmpgenc and everything went fine except when I play the dvd the last minute of the movie is a black screen.
It was 3 700 meg avi's which I joined before converting to dvd. The avi movie plays well but when converted to dvd I loose the last minute of the movie. Anyone know why this happened?

Apparently you've blundered somewhere. :) This has nothing to do with XviD. Please give a detailed report about the conversion process (joining, scripting, encoding audio & video...) so we can help you tracking the mistake.

I first joined the 3 avi files with AVI MPEG RM WMV JOINER then I removed the credits at the end of the movie with AVI MPEGASF WMV SPLITTER. Once I had the avi all joined and shortened I used this guide http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm and this guide http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/186739.php#2
then I used TMPGEnc DVD author to get the Video ts folder with all the files but when I play it with power dvd, the last minute is a black screen but the sound is still there.

anyway, what are these tools ? i've never heard about them ? sound like sg for wmv.

Those tools are from Boilsoft.
The avi plays fine after the joining and cutting. The avi is 2 hours 41 minutes and 41 seconds long in total when joined.
