Nero some DVD rips work some don't?

I've been trying to burn a compilation using NeroVision Express of differnt videos ripped from different DVDs using DVD Decrpypter.
while burning an image to my hard drive i get the following error right after nero finishes transcoding certain videos. Do I need to do somthing else to these videos to get this to work? it seems some DVDs work with a straight rip with DVD Decrypter and some don't.

OK maybe I can answer my own question. after sifting through pages of threads and finding no answer, and no pros to point me in the right direction :eek: .I did some trial rips with dvd shrink on a DVD that previously gave me problems, keeping the AC3 audio only and so far it seems that Nero has accepted the video. So does this tell me that Nero won't accept LPCM audio??? It seems to be the only thing I changed besides using a different program.

Yea sounds like it to me. Perhaps there's a bug in their software when importing PCM audio. I rarely use Nero and even more rarely backup something that has only PCM audio.

ok I finally got Nero to complete the task with out any errors but the finished burn had no sound.

Do you have the latest update for Nerovision Express.
Version "3.1.0.0.d" is the latest, released April 19th 2005.
It may resolve your problem. Go to www.nero.com

all I know is I get errors with PCM audio and when I used AC3 audio only the project, burn to image then to DVDR, I ended up with great video but no audio and no errors.

I did get a successful burn using an older Nero Express, that came bundled with a LITE-ON combo drive, and using other programs. I'll post the method later in this thread later, but cannot take credit because I used a combination of different methods posted by others.

is there a way to check an .nrg image file before burning to a DVD?
