Hi everybody!
I captured the wwe raw wrestling show on my computer this week using the following settings : NTSC, 720 x 480, 8mb/sec, audio 256 kbps 48 000 khz.
After cutting the commercials, the lenght of the show was approx. 1h35 min. and the size of the mpeg2 was 6gb. I used dvd shrink to make it fit on a dvd+r. I thought that since the movie was only 1h35 min., there wouldn't be a lot of quality loss, but I was wrong. There were pixels through all the show when I watched it on my home dvd player.
Is there anything I did wrong? The movie was encoded once (when it had to be shrinked).
Last week, I made a backup of "saving private ryan" using dvd decrypter and then I shrinked it and put it on a dvd+r. "Saving private Ryan" last 2h45 min. ( a lot more than the wwe show)and I didn't notice any difference between the backup copy and the original.
Are there any explanations for that?
thanks for your time!
