After I converted a PAL AVI to an NTSC SVCD in TMPG with audio of 48k so I can put it on DVD, I tried to mux the audio and video with bbmpeg to see if it was in sync but I get no audio at all. It's as if it doesn't think the mp2 audio file is valid or something because it doesn't seem to mux it with the video, but it gives no errors. Oh, toolame was used in TMPG.

bbmpeg is a pretty good muxer. did you test the audio playback before muxing (i mean the .mp2 48khz file you are muxing with) test the audio in the same video player that fails to play sound after muxing

Well, I tried but it was all warbly sounding, which is normal for the demuxed audio when I tried to play it in my player. I've since made a DVD of the video and audio and it came out fine, but I wanted to mux it together before I compiled the DVD to make sure it was in sync. So, there was nothing wrong with the files, it's just that when I tried to mux it with bbmpeg it wouldn't combine the audio for some reason.
