I'm going to be storing my DVDs on my harddrive, but I want to run dvddecrypter to remove all the extras. In the end of all this I want to be left with an ISO. Is this possible using DVDdecrypter and dvdshrink?
thanks for any help

in dvdshrink after clicking BACKUP choose your target ISO.
now if you have some VIDEO_TS folders already then wish to convert those to iso I'd say easiest way is with ImgTool Classic http://www.coujo.de/

Another easy way is to open the already shrinked files in DVD Shrink again and rip as full disc to ISO. If you want to get rid of the extras why not do it with DVD Shrink instead of DVD Decrypter (unless it's one of those new copy protection DVDs)?

I would combine what mrbass and Chetwood stated. If the dvd doesn't have one of the new copy protections use shrink in re-author mode and save as an ISO. Other wise rip with decrypter then make an ISO from it using one of the above mentioned ways.

I disagree. If your going to do it this way, dont use DVD Shrinks inbuilt decrypter, use DVD43.

Still you need DVD Shrinks authoring qualities when stripping extras. I doubt the DVD ripped with Decrypter will run flawlessly when the extras are removed.

I agree. Read my post again, i never said to use DVD Decrypter. I said to use DVD43 which is a real time decrypter. You can use it with DVD Shrink to edit it out as you normally would with Shrink, just bypassing Shrinks inbuilt decrypter.
