Video shaking

I have problem with progressive video (1280x720x60).
Video is shaking vertically.

How I can fix this? :confused:

Video shakes 2-3 times each 1-2 seconds. Video is progressive (I don't think it's some interlace artifacts). :confused:

Did you try DeShake / DePan (dont know the exact name) plugin on it?
I'm sure it can be fixed since its rather minimal.

If possible, I don't use such kind filtres. I'm afraid I'll loose all quality (it's HDTV video with very high quality).

Maybe there are other ways? For example like loseless-quality-deinterlace for video called "Invert Telecine". :confused:

Did you get this VOB off a commercial DVD?

No, I mean I'd like to find way without making quality worse. IVTC is example - the way to deinterlace movie (telecine) without loosing any quality.

I'm sure with DeShaker I'll loose some quality.

I think it was captured from satellite TV without recompression, but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't understand - is this possible to fix this or not? Now I have already few HDTV movies and few DVDs (good quality, but video is shaking).

Or video shaking is normal? :confused:

If you're not sure how the video was obtained, it sounds like a rule 6 violation to me.

Your process is broken. You should fix it. If you won't tell us what the process is, how can we help you?

Your only option unless you have control of the process is to use Deshaker.

My english is bad... What you mean "process"? :confused:

I've tried it. It removes shaking, but when camera "goes from left to right" (panorama view?), the movement is not smooth as in original.

Process means all the steps you use to create the final product. For example, here is a process:

1. Capture a program off-air via an SVideo feed using DC10+ capture card into an MJPEG AVI file.

2. Deinterlace with Decomb in an AVS script.

3. Open the AVS script in VirtualDub and encode to XviD.

The point I am making is that the front-end of your process is likely broken. I had a DC10+ capture card that also jerked vertically, but I was able to find a workaround (using PicVideo to decode the captured file, instead of the DC10+ HW decoder). There may be a similar issue for you.

If you are getting commercial material from other people, just drop this thread before you get struck.

I see. I've said that it's probably Satellite. It's 1080i 30fps or 720p 60 fps MPEG2. With 18-19 VBR video stream.

I don't think that used some TV Tuners. I don't have HDTV, but I have normal satellite. So, I capture MPEG2 transport stream with my reciever. It just copy stream to HDD without any recompression.

It's 720p 60fps. Completely progressive picture.

Hmmm. I use Nero Recode to encode MPEG2 to AVC. Is it use it's own decoder or it use windows installed decoder?

Is this possible that on my computer installed some jerky MPEG2 decoder? :confused: Can I check this out somehow?

You don't have HDTV but you are asking about HD captures that have come into your hands. Please refer to forum rule 6.

I don't live in US. We have different laws. If I have movie (bought DVD for example), I can get copy in VHS/HDTV/DivX etc - it's legal.
