Hi,
I have a project with a still menu and 2 videos. They're all in Title_1 and both videos have 8 chapters.
The menu is chapter 1. The first video starts at chapter 2 and finishes at 9. The second video starts at chapter 10 and finishes at 17.
Is there a way to change the chapter numbers (from 1 to 8) for both videos ?
Thank you :D

The chapter numbers are for the title. So to have two videos with the same chapter numbers means you have to make two titles. Clear the second video's PGC. Right click on VTS_1 and select "New Title", give it a name if you wish. Then drag the track for the second video onto the new title folder.

Thanks mpucoder ;)
One more question : what should i do with the menu ... should i leave it in Title_1 (is there a way to take it off the chapter list) ... can i move it to the video manager ?
Thanks.

The best place to put the menus is in the language area. That's what it's for. Also you shouldn't have more than 1 PGC in a title. It will get rid of any timecode on the track. Just put all the pieces of video in seperate titles in the same VTS if you can.

Right.
Now I know this is not what you are trying to do in this case, but if you did want two or more tracks to be in the same title what you do after dragging the first track to the title folder is add the other tracks to the first track's PGC. After that set all the cells after the first to seamless. That way you end up with a one_sequential title, with a time map.

dgoodbourn, mpucoder, thanks for your help. I'm gonna try to put the menu in the language area and create 2 titles ; one for each video.
The other trick is also good to know ... might help soon !
