DVD-R media Hot deal?

i wanted to know if these prodisc dvd-r are ok with their price?

Im not exactly sure what type of quality these discs are, but which discs you should get depends on what you are going to use them for?

If your goign to use them for archiving you should really get a high quality disc like the Taiyo Yuden discs for a few dollars more. If your only using it for temporary storage, like moving programs from one computer to another, you might do ok with these discs. But, if thats the case, your better off with some reasonable quality DVD RW's.

Easiest way to know the quality of the disc is to see where its made. All "Made in Japan" discs are considered the best quality. The others are all really wildcards. But usually, anything "Made in Taiwan" is better then "Made in Hong Kong", but not by much. You can get some real shockers..
