Guys,

Using the filters supplied by Richard (Many Thanks) I have got my video footage to a state I am happy with.

Unfortunately, a 3min 9sec clip is over 5Gb!! What compression method on save should I use?? I guess as its Cine footage (and its far from great quality) compression won't hurt?!?!?!!?!

All help appreciated!
Thanks

It depends on how you want to play the resulting file. If it's for playback on PCs, you could use DivX or XviD, for example. If it's for play back on a normal DVD player, you'd need to use MPEG2.

I would probably put it to xvid anyway for my PC and mpeg for those family members that want a copy. I was kind of thinking of something better for archive purposes??

Is Xvid good enough?

Thanks

For archiving, you might consider the lossless Lagarith codec and store the result on a DVD data disk.
