chapters messed up

ive just backed up a dvd using the big 3 method and everything goes great until i copy the vobs over to the Video_ts folder that doitfast4u creates and then the chapters get messed up. is there anything i am doing wrong? TIA for the help

hi TwinZ and welcome to the forum!

well, my initial reaction would be to point the finger at an incorrect procedure during the ifoupdate process, although i really need more information to work with.

which guide are you following?
which tools are you using, and version numbers please?
if you are not following one of the guides, could you please outline your steps in greater detail.

to be honest, the latest guide is a little out of date, and if i find a few spare hours (days ?!?!?!??!) i will try to update it.

thanks jel, i am following the newest guide and your initial reaction was spot on. shortly after i asked this i got a new lease of life and decided to tackle it again and i messed up updating ifo's. im sorted now tho and until the next time i get stuck thanks for the help

no worries mate.

if you havent already tried it, i would suggest you try batchifoupdate by Trahald (see the sticky in the big 3 forum), as it makes this step (almost) foolproof. :D

if you run into any other issues, i would suggest you post in the 'big 3' forum, as you will receive the most immediate assistance

that is what i used the second time round and it was spot on. i will from now on post in the big 3 forum. thanks for the help.
