Hello!
I recently tried to do a backup of a DVD-9 movie to fit a DVD-5 using XviD instead of MPEG2. It play backs fine on the PC and then i thought iI can try burning it to a DVD to play it in my Xbox (chipped and using Mediaplayer Center). I burned the disc in Nero and used UDF mode since ISO mode won't accept files over 2gb (mine was around 4.5gb).

However, when I browse the disc in the Xbox theres nothing there!
Is there any solution to this problem?

Theres nothing wrong with the discs i use since i used then several times before in the Xbox.

Thanks!

Ok, seems like I solved it!
I googled a little on this problem and i found an intersting tool called "xIso". The program was very simple. I simply imported my file into the program and told it to make an iso out of it. After a while, (5 min or so) I had an iso file.

I took the file into DVDecryptor and burned it (since the burningengine in "xIso" couldn't find my burner and DVDecryptor is so good anyways :)

Went downstairs and tried it in my Xbox and voila! The Xbox recognized the file and played just fine (Xbox Media Center)!

Although, when I browsed the disc it says its only 381mb. I launced up GSpot on my computer and found out that it says my file is 381gb also and has a corrupt header. Whenever this is the case or not, the file plays fine. Maybe its just the Xbox and GSpot having a problem reading files that large.

Hope this will help someone!
