I've been converting some .ts files to DVD, and have had a lot of success - so far... However, I am having a problem with the latest conversion, whereby the audio is going out of sync a little more after each ad break.
The original poster of the material has cut out the commercials (no idea what tool they used), and after each break the audio is a little more behind the video. At the start of the show it's perfect, but by the end of the show, it's about .5 seconds out.
My current procedure involves :
1) DGIndex to demux audio
2) AviSynth to telecine where necessary, and produce the correct video, fed into CCE to convert to DVD format.
3) AC3fix to 'clean' the audio, and AC3Delaycorrector to shift the audio
4) Finally, I use TMPGEnc DVD Authoring to re-join audio and video.
As I said, this method has worked well for a lot of shows, so I am convinced it is down to a different method used in this case to cut the commercials... Does anyone know how I could deal with this?
