ASPI vs WinIO

With regard to SmartRipper, exactly how does one switch from ASPI to WinIO? I'm getting "No ASPI Adapter Available".

I really don't want to install the layer driver for ASPI. I assume I don't have it on my machine.

It needs aspi to authenticate the drive / disc.

Smartripper doesn't support the newer 'SPTI' I/O interface.

Perhaps now would be a good time to checkout a ripper that's still being developed? i.e. DVD Decrypter
