ok,
I am trying to create a .nrg image (image recorder as target device)

why is the DVD->DVD recoding always says "creating layer 2"
during the recording process ? can i turn that off ?
should I be able to get an image size bigger than standard dvd-r 4.7G ? when I use the "Custom Size" on first page (with sliders for
quality, etc) it craetes an image fine but it will not mount it with
nero image drive nor deamon-tools. if it says burninf layer 2 shouldnt it be able to create an image? on the recode versions prior to the "Layer 2" this worked fine !! now it says invalid image.
but works fine for sizes 4.7Gb and smaller

any1 ??
thanks

you need to give us more info!
1) what movie
2) how big is the movie (gigs)
3) info about your computer
and you do relize that the recoradable space on a normal dvd blank is about 4.35 gigs, unless you have a dual layer blank you cannot put a lot more than 4.35 gigs on a blank. that's the reason for the second layer(dual layer)maybee you should spilt the movie to 2 disc.
