Hello everybody,

please excuse this noob question:

I'm trying to use smoothdeinterlacer (i want to convert from Pal ton NTSC). As I'm new to this, I'm right now not encoding the output of AviSynth but watch it with Media Player Classic.
As soon as i load the smoothdeinterlacer plugim I get an error message that says Smoothdeinterlacer is not an Avisynth 2.5 Plugin.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Rocko

maybe check to see if you have the latest version?

I've just downloaded it yesterday (I mean smoothdeinterlacer). It said it was Version 1.4

Perhaps I did something wrong: I copied the dll into my avisynth/plugin directory and use Loadplugin("path/dll-file" in the Avisynth script.

Check that you have the Avisynth v2.5-compiled plugin instead of the v2.0 one.
