quick dvd shrink question

i live in the uk, if i use dvd shrink to copy a region 6 dvd then will the resulting copy play region free on all players??

also - what is a cyclic redundancy error as i have had a few of these on some films using dvd shrink

Cyclic redundancy is probably a scratched or dirty original. Clean it. Try ripping it w/ Decryptor. Some times it is more forgiving than Shrink. If it gets hung up on a certain file, hit cancel and it will prompt, "Do you want to skip this file?" Yes, and don't delete it; at least you will have as much of it as you can.
