Hi, im not entirely new to encoding, but decided
to take on a project I dopnt know i can handle.

Lets say, that I recorded the entire Seinfeld
off from my german tv with a bad software
solution i cant remember anymore.

theyre 170megs each and i plan to reduce them
to about 70, 80 megs. The quality is not that
important to me. after all its a sitcom, not
an hdtv show with heavy visuals.

I tried to use Gordian Knot, but the avs
frameserver program hat some problems like
showing the picture only in the top left
quarter of the frame.

Using the resize filter of vdubmod avoids this
problem, but setting up each and every one
of the 150+ episodes is gonna be a pain.

So my question is, is there a software or several,
that can batch demux avis (mp3), at best folder
wise. Is there a mp3 batch recoding application,
and is there a batch video encoding application,
or how would i have to set up vdubmod, to easily
batchencode with fixed settings for xvid and size
and so an.

and finally is there a batch muxxing app?

In advance i want thank you. I appreciate any
helpful comment.

if you want more power with vdub try
http://dubman.sourceforge.net

i use avs2avi command line encoding video-only
http://www.avs2avi.org/

you should be able to demux audio in vdubmod through as a job...
