[edit]
I just bought a new 1 GB MMC card for my 6600, and it works fine with the phone. The only issue is that it doesn't work with any other things I have at home: digital camera (doesn't recognise), Acer n30 Pocket PC (recognises MMC card, but can't use it). I even have a Card Reader and Writer, which worked fine with other cards, but it just refuses to read this 1 gb one! The reader just freezes (the hardware). I am desperate. Now I have to get all them movies from PC by bluetooth, which can be really slow (what's the transfer rate of bluetooth? anyone knows?).

My dad got a 1GB SD (same as MMC) card. Works great everywhere

SD is not totally the same as MMC, it's backward compatible with MMC.

I really hope 1GB SD cards will work everywhere because I just ordered a Palm Zire 72s with a 1GB card and a card reader for my PC...
But from what I read, 1GB SD cards seem to be no problem.

Hello MSlv, :)

Buetooth:

frequency: 2.4 GHz (ISM range)
distance: 10 m (there are solutions for 100 m as well)

symmetric mode: 432.6 Kbit/s both ways

data protection: authentication, encryption with 8..128bit key
