Does MP4box support the muxing of Mpeg2 streams into the .MP4 container?
Cheers

According to jeanlf MP4Box doesn't support MPEG-1/2 files:

that post is from 2004-10-22, since than lots of things have changed ;)
mp4box supports mpeg-1/2 audio and video in .mpg (dunno whether raw streams work, .mp3 (raw mpeg-1 layer3 audio) works of course)

I've been getting really really bad playback in VLC when muxing MPEG-4 ASP streams and mp3 audio with MP4Box. Why? I thought the mp4 container was good for any MPEG stream?

why do you think thats the fault of the mp4 container format?
make sure to doublecheck with other mp4 players and make sure you use the latest nightly build from vlc and not the latest official version
