Editing existing Divx or Xvid file

I want to simply top and tail 6 divx files, cut off opening and closing credits. It is possible in Womble to do this without recoding for MPEG files but it doesn't recognise the sound stream in Divx or Xvid files. Is there an alternative program I could use for DivX and Xvid that doesn't recode?
