Ive been trying to back-up a copy of spanglish....Everything go thru but when i play it back on my PC or dvd player only the menu plays....Once the screen gets to the actual movie part it just has a black screen....If i forward it the picture will display...i am using dvd-rb .83 and cce 2.70.02.00...Anyone experiance this problem?

A little more info might help...
What did you use to rip the movie to your HD?
Did you do any preprocessing?

i used dvd decrypter in file mode like i do all of my 600 dvds and never had a this problem....I did not do any preprocessing...im using dvd-rb with its default settings...

Check your disc and see if all files are there. Check to see if you have a _1 VOB for all 11 VTS.

Spanglish is protected by that Arccos disc protection (that also protects Resident Evil: Apocalypse and The Forgotten). In order to back it up, you need to rip it with a program that can deal with that protection.
DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 can do it. Be sure to have the "Check for Structure Protection" option checked.
Using programs like AnyDVD or DVD43Free can also help with removing that protection when ripping the DVD to your hard drive with other software.
