Quick question about setting layer break

Just a very quick question: where should I set layer break? Maximize layer 0 or make the 2 layers as equal as possible? Is there any difference at all? Thanks for the answer in advance. :D

somewhere inbetween those two options has to be a nice fade out to black which will be ideal.

basically all you need to do is make sure layer 1 doesnt exceed layer 0 (and neither are too big to fit on the dvd)
