Hello,
I am attempting to capture a VHS with a Kworld card (conexant chipset) under Win MCE. If I 'set custom format' to anything larger than 320x240 in VDubMod I get an 'unsupported video format' error.
Suggestions for resolving or other capture software that might work better a very apperciated, I've been struggling with this for a long time.
Thanx

Hi:

Try whith the drivers from :

http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/

This drivers can manage almost every card with chip conexant BT8X8 and get the most of it.

Good luck.

Or alternatively try VirtualDub v1.6.5 which supports WDM drivers.

Hi another time :

You can try also VIRTUALVCR. It supports custom formats up to 768x576 ( if you live in PALland ) and WDM drivers also.

The link :

http://virtualvcr.sourceforge.net/html/virtualvcr/download.php

Wellcome to capture video nightmares.
