Scenarist Seamless Playback problems

I'm trying to use seamless playback between adjacent cells within a pgc in Scenarist. I can rip a commercial menu by cell ID and assemble it seamlessly without any problems. However, when I try to use any of my reencoded (cce - all progressive 4:3 PAL) material, It never works. The seamless option in the property browser is not there. I have tried all different options of encoding in cce, and switched from the athlon patched cce 2.5 to 2.67 in case that was the problem, it doesn't help.

Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong?

could this be caused by open GOPs?
Have you tried "Close all GOPs" in CCE?

Okay I have solved the problem.

Using exactly the same files in Scenarist 3.0 rather than 3.01 the problem has gone.

3.01 is not the best version that has been released if I should believe all comments.....
