Codecs disappeared in TMPGEnc

Hello all,

I am sorry my English is so poor
I hope you guys can understand what I am saying

I got a problem about TMPGEnc
Most of the codecs disappeared
only Microsoft's left
I've already installed all of the codecs again and again
it sill doesn't show up
But it shows up in VirtualDub
So do you guys know what the problem is?

TMPEGEnc only encodes MPEGs, which doesn't have a codec as such installed on you pc. The algorithm is in the program(dlls or whatever) itself. Codecs(DivX etc) are for compressing/decompressing avis.

Go to OPTIONS, ENVIRONMENTAL SETTING, VFAPI, and make you you have a check besides the decoder you want to use (don't just check them all, look and see what extension the decoder uses, if you are converting AVI files then AVI2 (openDML) or DIRECTSHOW should be checked) and make sure the Register TMPGEnc.vfp to VFAPI option is checked as well.
