I downloaded and installed v0.80 using the installer, then tried to encode the third disc of Deadwood, Season 1 using CCE 2.66. After 1%, computer froze and I had to reboot. So, I tried HC encoder...same thing, computer froze. Then, tried CCE 2.5...computer froze. I then downloaded Rebuilder v0.79 and started to encode the same disc. No problems at all. Perfect encode like RB has always given me before. So, there is a serious bug in v0.80.

On a sidenote, does anybody have the link for Rockas installer for v0.79? Thanks!

Unfortunately it's a bug that only one person is reporting... which is an indicator that the problem is in your system rather than DVD-RB version 0.80...

Can anyone else confirm a freezing problem with v0.80?

Eh, no. I don't mean to sound rude, but its not my system. It has to be something with the prepare phase. I came into this problem with 2 discs from the Deadwood series, which are the only ones I've tried so far with v0.80. However, these same two discs worked perfectly with v0.79. If it was my system, they would have failed with this version. So, the only variable that has changed is the version of DVD-RB.

Please don't take any of this as an attack on DVD-RB, its great stuff, I use it constantly and have been extremely happy with it. Its no big deal, I'll just be sticking with the older version for now.

I don't mean to sound rude but it just may be your system.

I loaded up v 0.80 and did the 3rd disk of deadwood with .080 and it completed with no problems.

I used cce 2.67.

Make sure you have the dgdecode v1.1 installed. You can find it included with the latest RB release.
