View Full Version : NTSC -> PAL conversion (NOT HARDWARE)

Hi, I didn;t really know where to put this question and since I guess it' quite basic I'm putting it here.

I'm looking for a way to convert my NTSC DVD's to PAL. I usually use CCE/Maestro_or_Scenarist for my DVD9->DVD5 NTSC backups.. if there was any guide out there that told me what parts i need to change it would be great.

I am NOT interested in HARDWARE solutions (such as TV that are able to play NTSC material or DVD players that do PAL60 etc etc etc).

The DVD2SVCD Suite can do NTSC to PAL conversions, supports CCE as the MPEG-2 encoder, and supports DVD input and DVD output (in DVD2DVD (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd2svcd-dvdr.htm) mode).

It is primarily used for SVCD creation, DVD output is relatively recent in its long history -- perhaps in the last year. It has its own forum (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=47) here.
