First I merge 2 vcd parts
Then I burn the movie.
Then I put it on my dvd on the television
and when it gets to 50min-60mins it makes display problems and you can't see anything.
after the 60mins, it returns to be fine.

Hi & welcome to the forum,
how do you merge your VCDs, and how long are they? Does "50-60 mins" coincide with the joining point?

I tried to merge them with couple of applications, same problem.
But I use to merge them with TMPGEnc.
They are like 80-95 minutes and I burn them to 100min-disc.
"Does "50-60 mins" coincide with the joining point?" - No.

Yes, you can use TMPGenc to cut or join files, but like many people you are finding out that it often causes strange problems. I recommend using a video editor of some kind. One possibility is the excellent MPEG2VCR program at http://www.womble.com. It's not free, but it is a great product. I think the Downloads section here at Doom9 has a freeware MPEG editor that you might want to try.
It could also be your discs. Just about everything will play 90 minute CD-Rs, but a lot of devices have problems with 99 minute CD-Rs. Your DVD player may not like your discs. All bets are off for 90 and 99 minute discs because those discs do not conform to CD standards and there are no guarantees that all devices will play them.
