Here is the problem: The new DVD, "The Motorcycle Diaries" is in Spanish with English subtitles...only the subtitles are not seperate from the video files themselves but are actually a part of the images.
I want to edit out the profanity so my friends will watch it. What is the best way to rip the DVD, edit each image with new text written over the old swears, and then burn the DVD again....WITHOUT LOSING DVD QUALITY? I would like an exact copy (qualitywise) with just the images edited.
I have read the guides, but most do not cover anything that doesn't include simply DVD-to-DVD copying...without compression.
I also thought this thread was worthy to start because of the unique nature of the subtitles in this movie. I have read how to extract and edit subtitles, but this does not apply here as there are seperate subtitle files for this movie than the visible ones on the images themselves. I think I will actually have to edit each frame with the words I want to remove.
Thanx for any advice
