yeah, thats really great :)

haalis parser is my default choice for a long time already. seems to be really stable, supports a wide range of things (not to speak about things not related to mp4), doesnt have any strange limitations (as nero's parser) and is freely available

what do you need more :D

Thatīs really big. I tried to find out which player would support this. CorePlayer does not, mplayerc does not, BS Player does not. Anyone a better idea?

every dshow plyer supports it, but of course you need also a subtitle decoder as for any subtitle format: gabest's vsfilter works fine

Canīt get him work. Every player wantīs to have the Nero Parser. So I deletet the Nero parser. Registered Haaliīs splitter new (with detection to mp4) and opened a file with graphedit=> "Canīt render media file" Of course I can open a mp4 manually with Haalis filter. What is missing in my configuration?

wunschkind, sorry no idea, best would propably be to search for how to configure vsfilter propably

joebg, the nero parser has a higher merit than haalis and therefore is always used by default, best is to simply unregister it
do you get any error message? of course you have to have the decoder filters being able to connect (which means that you have to enable h.264 and/or divx4 (because of the "mp4v" fourcc) in ffdshow depending on the used video format in the mp4)

@wunschkind

It's a known bug in VSFilter 2.36 which doesn't display subs in Zoomplayer in combination with Haali's Parser (although I haven't any problems):
Blight
btw, to get subs to work with this splitter, you need DirectVobSub v2.37 or whatever gabest will call it when he eventually releases it. Cause in 2.36 there's a bug on certain systems that makes the video appear totally black and 2.33 doesn't work at all as it won't connect to the splitter.
...
Well, gabest has fixed the problem for the official one, I have a fixed build here, just waiting for him to do it officially.

I just tried out the haali Matroska Splitter and it kicks ass. Definitely my new mp4 splitter. One question though, anyone know when it will fully support tx3g (positioning)?

One question though, anyone know when it will fully support tx3g (positioning)? haalis parser translates ttxt to some extended form of the srt format (srt + colors, fonts, fontsizes, bold/italic aso...) which vsfilter understands, as vsfilter doesnt understand ttxt till now

so strictly speaking first vsfilter (or the second existing dshow text decoder: ffdshow) has to fully support ttxt before you can make fully use of everything ttxt offers
