Hi, I have a movie in wmv9 (1280x720), with a wma 5.1 audio track. It's English, so I'd like to add subtitles since I'm italian and I don't understand english so well. So I converted a subtitle track to srt and given it the same name as the wmv file, except for the extension. So, when I play the wmv, directvobsub starts. But here's a problem: the video becomes slow (20 fps instead of 24), and after about 5 seconds it starts to become out of sinch (i mean audio and video, the subs are correctly displayed). I have an athlon xp 2400+ and a radeon 9800. I also tryed to convert the video in mkv with ac3 track, and without subs the video plays correctly (as the wmv one does), but with subs there is the same problem. Can someone help me? Thanks!

Make sure you have the latest drivers from ATI - they just posted new ones yesterday.

Also try a different video player or try running it between Overlay and VMR9
