Man I've been gone for a while and now i'm back. Just curious as to what's new over the past 6 months. Any new outstanding codec changes and such? Just givin a shout out.

Seriously, check out Doom9's newssheets to find out what you've missed.

AGK is furiously developing, GK is ponderously progressing, error-correction has been proposed for XCD, Dual-layer DVD+R, DVD-RW media are available, DL writers have made it into the market, MPAA is planning hard how to screw you further. Etc.
