I am not sure if this is absolutely relevant, so i will outline and will provide more info if needed.

I was experiencing an 'Error 6 - buffer overflow' in the PREPARE stage of v0.81 Pro.

As the .VOBs were not ripped by me, instead of panicking, i looked at them closely and found that, when they were ripped to disk, the 'copy protection flag' remained.

I asked the friend who had asked me to do the backup to rip them again, and he brought the original DVD to me and i used DVD Decrypter, this time, using it properly and decrypting the keys to produce 'clean and usable' .VOBs.

Ok, i know this is not a DVD-RB "bug" as it is, but i have to say that a "Error 6 - buffer overflow" can maybe be caused by a multitude of factors, and i was wondering IF it was possible to detect the copy-protection bit in the PREPARE phase, and maybe report it more verbosely, so that the user can immediately know the cause of the problem - which is clearly not a DVD-RB problem, but instead, one of those common errors "between the keyboard and the chair" ;)
