I am encoding some material with CCE 2.67. The source material is Progressive scan. In CCE i have selected to Progressive flag and change the block scan order from Auto to ZigZag. When I open up the outputed m2v file in TMPGEnc it always reports the file as being interlace. If I encode the same material with a freeware encoder such as HC012 and set the same progressive/Zigzag options, TMPGEnc reports it as a Progressive source. What am I doing wrong in CCE that is causing Progressive outputs to be seen as interlaced.

Why do you open the m2v file in TMPGEnc?

Use Bitrate Viewer for analysing the video. TMPGEnc will probably always assume interlaced.
