hi already discussed this with d3s7 but we're out of knowledge now :)
Info
Info Creating DVD Video files
Error The number of Angle "3" of Cell "VTS2_Title1_PGC1_PG3_C1_c" is different in this Title "VTS2_Title1", "4"
Error PreCheck From DB failed.
Error DVD Video files could not be created
i always get this failure when starting to rebuild.
first we thought its because of an asset lenght failure but i corrected everything and the failure is still there...
anyone got an idea what this means ???

From the look of the error I woukd say that you have one track with 3 angles and one track with 4 angles.

all 3 angles :/

You did a cell demux and manually rebuilded the dvd?
I haven't had a dvd on which I had to do a cell demux ever. Can you paste some ifo info?

that error means scenarist wasnt happy with the assets.. the angles have to be encoded as closed gop, no scene detection, m-n/m same..
what scenarist appears to be specifically complaining about is PTS mismatch.. the angle start times dont match. fix? reencode the asset making sure angle flag is on batchccews and if you r doing directly into cce make sure theses are on (close all gops, restrict i-frame insertion, and equalize gops bit length) options are on. also make sure start time is set to 0x00000000. make sure scenarist is closed while you reencode.

I believe this was not the case here. The cell was attached wrongly in the scenario the encoding was correct. (if I read correctly)

ive encoded all angles with the angle marked in batchcce so :/

hm maybe i should encode the whole vts2 with the angle option marked in batchcce ??

@flu
no prob :)
@klosk
are your angle assetts no-cce by any chance? that could cause odd PTS values.
also if they were encoded but one angle assett was done with pulldown and another angle wasnt.
kLOsk
6th April 2005, 10:37
ok i just chekd them again.. there is no no-cee and no pulldown.. the main video of the mutliangle part (vts2) was encoded withour the angle flag.. the angles (angle 1,2 ,3) in scenarist were encoded with the angle flag in batchcce
should i also encode the main video with the angle flag on ?

your script is still wrong from how the original ifo is....
what's wierd is if I scan a dummy demux w/ your ifo the one I have turns out correct...
can you send me the scp from the last build so I can verify the script is correct
EDIT: NM.. just checked my email :)

well the angle block is built correctly in the script now... sorta..
I'm still not sure what's going on why your .SCP is different layout wise then mine off a test scan..
I'll going to add more debug info and send that over to you.... still think part of the problem is the layout differences...
although, something's up w/ your assets as well

If you want to go ahead.. but its not needed.. just the angle assets have to match gop structure
