Hello,

I downloaded this tool at this address:
http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=gui4ffmpeg

Apparently the installation occurred well.
Nevertheless during an encoding to the format mpeg4 "fmpeg4", no reader multi-media (mpegîp, mpegable player, vlc, bsplayer, Mpc, Realplayer10, Nero mediaplayer, Mplayer etc..) arrives at reading this file.
Only the sound is restored with Vlc..
It should be noted that file Vcd, Svcd and DVD does not pose any problem.
Where this problem can come according to you?

Thank you

It is strange, I wanted to test this tool which works in line of order and which supports the avisynth to know what could give the Fmpeg4 format.Apparently I am disappointed because I still do not manage to find a player able to read this file.
It is perhaps a file strange, I would like to believe it well.
If somebody can test it and to say to me what does not function, I would understand my problem better.
Although it is mine.

"it is thus, I cannot be prevented from leaving on a incomprehension"
A volunteer could it help me to include/understand what I do not include/understand.

Nevertheless, If that does not interest anybody, I think that it is preferable to close this post.

Thank you.

Sorry for my translation.

ffmpeg (libavcodec) with mpeg4, like xvid and /or xvid it's possible, buuuutttt. The final avi it's corrupt. you can fix it with virtualdub/mod and works great.
but if you reencode a xvid to mpeg4 (dvd dplayer incompatibility) the quality are worst. I recommend to use xvid for both.

Anyway test it!!!

Sorry to disappoint you I tried with VDM without result.
In brief, I believe that I had my dose.

Thank you Floppy for your support.
