View Full Version : Change in CCETargetSectors?

Has anyone noticed a change in the behavior of the CCETargetSectors setting in last few versions of DVD-RB and/or CCE? My encodes are now consistently 15MB oversized when using the 'old reliable' setting of 2260000. Unfortunately, I just chalked it up to a one-time quirk the first time it happened, so I can't isolate the version, but it has definitely started happening within the last few versions.

If i'm not the only one, than has anyone figured out the 'new 2260000'?

Do you pre-process your files? When I use an original image the output is pretty consistent. If I remove trailers, languages, subtitles with CloneDVD2 first then the output is variable, but close to the target.

Yes, using 2260000 the output is slightly oversized. Just like btspm it started happening in the lastest couple of versions. The only change I made was switching from 2.67 to 2.70, which could be the cause.

Good to know I'm not crazy. I too switched from 2.67 to 2.70 around the time it started happening, so that could easily be the cause.
