I want to convert a .avs file to DVD. On the conversion-tab, I can open an .AVS file. But if I want to convert, D2S sais: No audio stream. But the opened .avs has audio! So D2S is wrong. Is another possibility available to open .avs files?

You could run it thru VFAPI to create a dummy AVI file.
The Executable is in the Reader subfolder of the VFAPI folder in your DVD installation directory.
It's pretty self-explanatory but give us a shout if you have any problems.

I used the newer version of VFAPI, which is on www.doom9.org. It is still preparing now. I will post my experiences here.
I also tried the program MakeAVIS, a part of ffdshow. But everytime I want to preview a sample with D2S, an error message of AVIsynth was displayed: 'Could not decompress frame 0'. I hope VFAPI will work better. (The created AVI with MakeAVIS played correctly in Media Player Classic)

I have had trouble with makeAVIS but VFAPI always does the job for me.
