I don't think this feature will ever be free, it's in the pro version. If you want it I think you'll have to donate.

That's correct. The freeware version will only get bug fixes and minor enhancements. The Pro Version will never become freeware.

If you want to take the time, learn how to use VobBlanker. Or search the IFO/Vob Editors forum. Personally, I think a donation is worth the extra functionality in the VIP versions of DVD Rebuilder. Blanking in RB will save tons of editing time.

yes i know how to use vobblanker. there are so many tools. thats not the problem. i want a programm to do blanking without ripping anything so that DVD-RB when i select the DVD in my dvd rom to see only the main movie. thats my goal. if you know anything tell me please. like ANYDVD that descrambles real time the dvd so the PC and every other program can see it unlock but to have blanking features too:)

If blanking alone is enough to make the DVD fit on a dvd-5, then use DVD-RB's blanking with the "No Compression" mode. Right now you have to keep the menus... that may change.

Hi,

@Jbobbs

This is an question/request, but is it possible to DVD-rb,when loading the DVD automaticly remove any unreferenced material, from the VIDEO_TS.VOB, or any other vob and, of course, assigning the free space to the movie?

If it's possible it will be great... :)

Keep up the good work

It's not too difficult, it's just not a priority since most of the time the unreferenced material is small enough to be ignored. I'll add it to the list.

Thnks,

I'm just asking because i've have 2 movies i'm using for testing the hc encoder but both movies have a little more than 200 Mb of unreferenced material located in the Video_ts.vob (wich i can't even recompress because dvd-rb doesn't look at it). 200 Mb is, imho, precious space for video.

Anyway, thanks for all the work.

Donation coming soon :)

It'll give you a little over 200Kbs additional video bitrate for a 2 hour movie -- about the equivalent of removing one audio stream. That will help, but it would probably be noticable only on difficult movies.
