Hi gang, I am using Dvdsanta to convert avi,xvid,divx,mpeg1/2, etc. The confusing part is that some of my rips skip or will not play on some other players. Also some of them will skip on my players (Initial and Durabrand)after I have made a copy of the ripped disk, but the master works fine. I am wondering if Dvdsanta has some bugs. I have reinstalled it with no improvement.

I have 1 gig of ram , 2.8 intel processor, 40 gig master, and a 160 gig slave, IBM thinkcentre.

Can any one suggest a good software package that could eliminate the problems?

Thanks.

Sounds like bad media. What are you using?

First of all, by media, I meant what kind of blank DVD's are you using.

More importantly, however, you appear to be in violation of Rule #6. Please go back and re-read the rules you agreed to when you joined this forum.

Telesyncs-One of the multiple terms used by movie pirates to describe the source material that was used to make a bootlegged pirate copy, normally distributed in VideoCD, SVCD or DivX format.

Read the Announcement and the Forum Rules, those two doc's will give you an idea of what is and isn't allowable here at Doom9.
