I encoded an interlaced PAL DVD with SVCD2DVD 1.2.2 build 3 and CCE to DVD 5.

It plays great on my pc, but when i play it on my standalone DVD player on my TV, the framerate looks low and the scene changes look not right.
So i think it has the wrong field order.

It was set to automatic in this encode. Next time i want to do it right, but do i have to set it to Field A or Field B to fix it?

DVD2SVCD usually doesn't have any trouble with field order when converting DVD's (Don't ask about AVI's......please :p )

The best option is probably to preview the offending DVD's .vob's in DVD2AVI(was installed with DVD2SVCD) and use the T (top) or B (bottom) as a refrence to manually set DVD2SVCD on the encoder page.

Make sure you have "Keep interlaced" selected (on the conversion tab) and use an interlaced template (if you have a CCE version that supports it - on the encoder tab, advanced section)

DVD2avi indeed detected "B". So i've tried encoding it again, but my computer crashed while doing it.

I will try again soon... with an opened computer case to prevent overheating.
